DIY AUTOMATION FITTING

 

With a little effort, you may be able to find the gate automation kit you require for sale on Internet sites such as eBay. You may even be able to pick up a bargain reconditioned unit and attempt to fit it yourself.

However, we strongly advise against this, unless you are a qualified electrician and have some previous experience in automating gates. You may also only get 12months warranty where we give you 2 years on the equipment and the fitting!

 arsparks have gone out in the past to call outs on DIY /Home fit electric gate automation jobs where the family car  has been hit by the DIY installed gate automation and badly damaged as well as other problems such as live 230v electrics to the gates themselves, Bent and twisted gates as well as the odd trapped behind there own gates customer!

What are Schools responsibilities under guidance from regulatory authorities, such as Ofsted? 

arsparks offer a design and advice service to help schools improve their security. A school's responsibility broadly comes under health and safety and Ofsted's safeguarding outcomes for staying safe. However, It would generally seem that Ofsted seem to be taking a tougher line with schools on their security policies. 

arsparks has years of experience installing and maintain security gates, video access control, CCTV systems and PAT testing for schools, colleges and local authorities. We offer free advice and quotations without any obligation.

arsparks recommend school projects included main drive school gate automation and any side school entrance gates have video intercom's and access control. The gates are to be all automated {side gates just on close} and controlled via a fob system. The fob system can be connected back to a school computer providing reporting functions and the deletion or addition of fobs. The video intercom would be connected to the school reception allowing the controlled entry of visitors
